Local-first by design, not as a marketing line.

CouplesBingo is designed to keep your activity, preferences, and game history under your control. This page explains how storage, sync, permissions, and multiplayer data handling work in plain language.

1. Data minimization and storage

CouplesBingo keeps your activities, preferences, and game history on your device. The app uses local device storage so your core data does not rely on a developer-run backend to function.

If you use multiple Apple devices, syncing happens through your own iCloud account and CloudKit container. Irie Dinamik does not operate a separate server that stores your CouplesBingo relationship or gameplay data.

2. Permissions

  • Local Network: Used only to help connect directly with your partner for multiplayer games on the same network.
  • Face ID: Optional protection for private activities and settings. Biometric data stays within Apple’s secure system.
  • Calendars: Used only when you choose to schedule a date idea. The app does not need to read unrelated calendar content.

3. Multiplayer and data transmission

During multiplayer sessions, game state messages move directly between participant devices. Those gameplay messages are not intercepted, warehoused, or profiled by Irie Dinamik.

4. What the app does not do

  • It does not run a separate developer-controlled cloud for your private activity history.
  • It does not sell your personal data.
  • It does not depend on third-party advertising networks to operate core gameplay.
